Marcel Overberg

Marcel Overberg has a diverse work experience, primarily in engineering and project management roles. Marcel started their career as a Werksstudent at LMT Medical Systems GmbH in November 2014 and worked there until August 2015. In September 2015, they joined Nikon SLM Solutions as an Entwicklungsingenieur and worked in this role until December 2018. Marcel then became the Teamleiter Prototypenbau und Versuch and held this position until September 2020. From September 2020 to November 2022, Marcel worked simultaneously as a System Engineer and Teamlead Powder&Parthandling at Nikon SLM Solutions. Marcel also served as an Interim Teamlead Program Management for a brief period from January to November 2022. Marcel was then promoted to the role of Head of Concurrent Engineering in November 2022 and later took on the additional responsibility of Project Procurement in January 2024. Currently, they are still employed in this position at Nikon SLM Solutions.

Marcel Overberg obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Technische Hochschule Lübeck in 2016. Currently, they are pursuing a Master of Science degree in Business Economics for Engineers and Scientists at FernUniversität in Hagen, which they are expected to complete in 2023.
