Kristian Smistrup's work experience begins in 2000 when they worked as an Uddannelsespolitisk koordinator at Polyteknisk Forening. From 2004 to 2007, they were a PhD student at the Technical University of Denmark, where they focused on nano and microtechnology. Following their studies, they joined Sonion MEMS A/S in 2007 as a Process Engineer, and continued in the same role when Sonion was acquired by Technitrol and integrated into Pulse's electronic component business.
