Kristian Smistrup

Kristian Smistrup's work experience begins in 2000 when they worked as an Uddannelsespolitisk koordinator at Polyteknisk Forening. From 2004 to 2007, they were a PhD student at the Technical University of Denmark, where they focused on nano and microtechnology. Following their studies, they joined Sonion MEMS A/S in 2007 as a Process Engineer, and continued in the same role when Sonion was acquired by Technitrol and integrated into Pulse's electronic component business. In 2009, they joined NIL Technology as a Senior Tool Development Engineer, where they currently work.

Kristian Smistrup completed their education with a PhD in Micro and nanotechnology from DTU - Technical University of Denmark. Kristian pursued an external stay at Harvard University in 2005-2006, focusing on Microfluidics Electromagnetism. Prior to their PhD, they obtained a Master of Science in Engineering in Applied Physics and Microtechnology from DTU - Technical University of Denmark in 1997-2003.
