Sara Gross Methner

Sara Gross Methner currently serves as Senior Counsel and Chief Attorney Talent Officer at Nilan Johnson Lewis PA since October 2022. Previously, Sara held various leadership roles at the University of St. Thomas, including General Counsel & Secretary and General Counsel & Chief Human Resources Officer from August 2011 to June 2022. Sara's experience in the legal field includes positions at Piper Jaffray, where roles spanned from Managing Director, International General Counsel to Managing Director, Assistant General Counsel & Head of Compensation from 2003 to 2011. Earlier career experience includes working as an Associate Attorney at Dorsey & Whitney LLP and as a Legislative Assistant for the U.S. House of Representatives. Sara's educational background includes a JD with Distinction from Stanford Law School and a BA with honors in Chinese Language & Literature from Wellesley College, alongside a certificate from the Mandarin Training Center at National Taiwan Normal University.
