Joan Swanson

Joan Swanson is an experienced educational professional currently serving as a Level 2 Learning Support Therapist at NILD since June 2017 and as an Upper School Guidance Counselor for grades 6-12 at Grace Baptist Academy since August 2009. Prior to these roles, Joan worked as a Consultant at Career Direct from February 2015 to June 2017, providing assessments and consultations for high school students and adults on college and career choices. Joan's earlier experience includes serving as an Administrative Assistant and Counselor at the International Christian School of Budapest from August 2005 to June 2008. Joan holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology - Counseling from Tennessee Temple University and is pursuing a Master's degree in School Counseling at Clarks Summit University.
