Shaimaa Refat

Shaimaa Refat is an experienced infection control specialist currently working at Nile Badrawi Hospital since January 2019. In addition to this role, Shaimaa has been a supervisor in the blood component department at the Regional Center for Blood Transfusion Services since June 2018 and served as an infection control specialist at the same center since October 2014. Prior to these positions, Shaimaa worked as a senior analyst at the Regional Blood Transfusion Center from October 2014 to May 2018 and as a junior analyst in both the serology and blood components departments. Shaimaa began professional career as a community pharmacist at Dina Salah Pharmacy from July 2013 to October 2014. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Cairo University, completed in 2013, along with an excellent degree in infection control from the Arab Institute for Continuing Professional Development (2018-2019) and several professional diplomas related to infection control and pharmacotherapy.
