Dr. Adam Burtsfield is an experienced educational leader with a career spanning over fifteen years, currently serving as Assistant Superintendent at Niles Community Schools since August 2014. Dr. Burtsfield has held multiple leadership positions including Director of Special Education and Principal. Prior experience includes serving as Assistant Principal at Community Schools of Frankfort and as a second grade teacher and assistant wrestling coach at Elkhart Community Schools. With a strong focus on technology integration and data-driven decision making, Dr. Burtsfield has led initiatives in classroom management, school improvement, and positive behavior strategies. Dr. Burtsfield holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from Purdue University, alongside a Master of Science in Educational Leadership and Administration from Indiana University South Bend, and a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Purdue University.
