Samantha Akers

Samantha Akers has a wide range of experience in visual merchandising and retail. Samantha began their career at Ralph Lauren in 2009 as a Sales Professional, where they provided luxury customer service and acted as a liaison between the store and Visual/Creative Partners. From 2011 to 2013, Samantha worked as a Product Presentation (Visual Merchandising) Coordinator, overseeing presentation standards in multiple Rugby stores and supporting the development of directives for Ralph Lauren stores worldwide. Samantha then became a Product Presentation Manager (Visual Merchandising) from 2013 to 2015, where they devised and implemented visual merchandising strategies for stores in the Northeast region, trained store staff, and executed prototypes of new seasonal deliveries. In 2015, Samantha joined Theory as a Visual Merchandiser and later became a Visual Merchandising Manager, a role they held until 2021. Currently, Samantha is the Director of Visual Merchandising at Nili Lotan New York.

Samantha Akers attended The George Washington University from 2003 to 2004, where they pursued the field of study of Psychology. However, it is unclear if they obtained a degree during this period. Subsequently, they attended Ramapo College of New Jersey from 2004 to 2007 and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree (BA) in Psychology.
