Mark Hommez possesses extensive experience in agricultural management, currently serving as the Live Animal Compliance Manager at Niman Ranch since May 2015. In addition, Mark has been the Greenhouse Facility Manager at The Perfect Circle Corp. since January 2009, where responsibilities include overseeing daily operations of an organic tomato greenhouse facility. Previously, Mark operated a self-employed row crop farm and managed a farrow-to-finish operation with 200 sows, along with a hydroponic tomato greenhouse, from January 1985 to January 2009. Mark holds a Bachelor of Science in Farm/Farm and Ranch Management from Hawkeye Community College, earned between 1983 and 1985, and graduated from St. Ansgar High School in 1983.
