Duke Hong

Duke Hong has three years of professional work experience. In 2021, they began working at NimbleRx as a Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineer. From 2019 to 2021, they worked at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA in various roles. As a Full Stack Engineer for STOP COVID-19 Together, they created an internal data tool for analysis/tracking of COVID-19 tests using Express, React, MariaDB (mySQL) and UCLA's Okta API for authentication. Duke also configured HTTPS and TLS security protocols along with logging middleware. As a Back End Developer Intern for Big Bio, they developed a REST API using Express (Node. js) to manage module submission system. Lastly, they worked as a Software Engineer Intern for the Computational Genomics Summer Institute.

Duke Hong attended the University of California, Los Angeles from 2017 to 2021, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Computer Science.
