Alex Chapa

Alex Chapa has extensive work experience in various roles and companies.

In 2013, Alex began their career at PROTECO, where they worked as an Instructor for three years, from June 2013 to July 2016. During this time, they also served as a Recruitment Coordinator from August 2015 to February 2016, and as a Team Lead Manager from January 2014 to December 2015.

From 2014 to 2016, Alex also worked at SAIC FI UNAM as a Project Coordinator from December 2014 to August 2015, and as a Business Liaison Coordinator from August 2015 to August 2016.

In 2015, Alex joined Tec Gurus as an Instructor, a role they held until July 2016. They also worked as a Software Developer at Smart Clipp from March 2015 to April 2019.

Starting in 2015, Alex worked at Aplicaciones Totales en Linea as a Software Developer and Instructor. As a developer, they worked on web applications and mobile apps, utilizing PHP, SQL, JavaScript, HTML, Android, and API REST. As an Instructor, they held this position from October 2015 to February 2020.

In 2017, Alex joined NA-AT Technologies as an Instructor, a role they held from December 2017 to April 2018.

In 2018, Alex held the role of Instructor at Blockchain Academy México from September 2018 to November 2020.

Lastly, in 2018, Alex joined Holly by Nimblr.ai as a Software Engineer, a role they held from March 2018 to May 2019. They were later promoted to Vice President of Engineering, which they currently hold.

Overall, Alex Chapa has accumulated diverse experience in software engineering, development, instruction, and coordination roles throughout their career.

Alex Chapa attended Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México from 2008 to 2011, where they obtained a Bachillerato degree from Escuela Nacional Preparatoria No. 6 "Antonio Caso". They then continued their education at the same institution from 2011 to 2017, earning a degree in Ingeniero en Computación.

In addition to their formal education, Alex Chapa has obtained several certifications. In March 2016, they became a Zend Certified PHP Engineer through Zend Technologies. They also acquired the Scrum Fundamentals Certified (SFC) certification from SCRUMstudy in April 2016. In September 2016, they became an Android Certified Application Developer through Android ATC. They further enhanced their skills by completing the IBM Blockchain Foundation Developer certification in December 2018 and the RSK Certified Technical Trainer certification from IOV Labs in April 2019. They also attended the IBM Blockchain Developer Bootcamp - Mexico provided by IBM in July 2019. Additionally, they became an instructor titular del curso de Soluciones Empresariales en Hyperledger through Blockchain Academy México in August 2019.
