Erin Cowhig

Erin Cowhig is Chief People Officer of Nimbus Therapeutics. Before joining the team, Erin was Vice President of Human Resources at Vertex Pharmaceuticals. She was responsible for HR governance, portfolio management, and organizational effectiveness and played a key role on Vertex’s HR Leadership team. Erin was also responsible for leading Vertex’s Diversity and Inclusion strategy and oversaw several D&I programs, specifically those related to talent, employee engagement, and retention. Earlier in her career, she built and led the Talent Acquisition and Talent Management function at Agios Pharmaceuticals and held Corporate HR Business Partner roles at Covidien, now known as Medtronic. Throughout her career, Erin has worked in various HR functions across several different industries including manufacturing, entertainment, retail, and medical devices. In 2015, she was awarded the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association’s (HBA) Rising Star Award on behalf of Vertex Pharmaceuticals. She holds a B.S. in human development and a Master of Industrial and Labor Relations degree from Cornell University.
