Ewandro Magalhães

Ewandro Magalhães is a seasoned professional specializing in language interpretation and localization strategy, currently serving as a Global Language Strategist at Nimdzi Insights since July 2023. As a TED Author and Speaker, Ewandro has created two viral TED-Ed lessons, notably one on simultaneous interpretation, garnering over 3 million views. Ewandro's extensive experience includes co-founding KUDO, where leadership as Chief Language Officer involved managing a large team of interpreters and developing an award-winning Interpreter Marketplace. Other roles include Head of Conference Management at the International Telecommunication Union, contract interpreter for the U.S. Department of State and the International Monetary Fund, and published author of a key work on language interpretation. Ewandro holds a Master's degree in Conference Interpretation from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey and a Bachelor's degree from Universidade de Brasília.
