As the Managing Partner and Founder of Phoenix Capital Ventures since 2016, Steinberg focuses on early-stage venture capital investments. Steinberg also holds board positions with PrizePicks, Attend, Skillshot Media, Ghost Gaming, and Prevent Biometrics, contributing to innovative developments in fantasy sports, event ticketing, esports, and head impact monitoring in sports. Previously, Steinberg served as the Executive Vice President and Chief Business Officer for the Atlanta Hawks, where key initiatives included facility development and revenue strategy. Nine Banded Whiskey was founded by a group of friends standing around a kitchen table one night in South Austin. We asked ourselves that night... Why isn't there a local whiskey that keeps up with Austin's lifestyle? A great tasting, great value whiskey that's focused on the customer and that promotes everything amazing about our modern city while honoring its history? We set out to make a whiskey that’s as good as it gets without any pretense. A whiskey that tastes like nothing other than Damn. Good. Whiskey. We add limestone filtered water, sourced directly from an ancient spring in the Texas Hill Country. It’s smooth. It’s real. It doesn’t taste like anything else because it can’t be made anywhere else. We don’t care how you drink it, we just care that you enjoy it. Drink like you’re from here.
