Charlene Zhu

Charlene Zhu's work experience begins in 2012 as a Volleyball Coach for PALO ALTO ELITE VOLLEYBALL CLUB. From 2016 to 2019, they worked as a Volleyball Coach/Camp Counselor for Legarza Sports, and as a Computer Science Tutor and Grader at Harvey Mudd College. In 2017, they were a Research Intern at Charles River Laboratories and simultaneously worked as a Research Assistant at Keck Graduate Institute. In 2020, they became a Research Associate at Genentech until April 2021. From September 2021 to September 2022, they worked as a Research Associate at MapLight Therapeutics, Inc. Currently, they are a Research Associate II at Nine Square Therapeutics, starting in October 2022.

Charlene Zhu pursued their education starting from 2011 until 2015 when they attended Palo Alto High School, from which they earned their High School Diploma. In 2015, they enrolled at Scripps College where they completed their Bachelor's degree in Cellular/Molecular Neuroscience with a minor in Chemistry in 2019. During their undergraduate studies, in 2017, Charlene participated in a study abroad program at DIS, focusing on Neuropharmacology.
