Big Dada Label Manager at Ninja Tune

Alex Ives is the current Head of Physical Sales at Ninja Tune. Alex has been with the company for 10 years and 3 months, and has held various positions during that time, including Physical Retail & Creative Marketing Manager, Digital Distribution & Marketing Manager, and Head of Physical Sales. Prior to their work at Ninja Tune, Ives interned at Domino Recording Co Ltd and Impressive PR. At Domino Recording Co Ltd, they were responsible for collecting release data for various online media platforms and updating Domino releases in iTunes Connect and Pandora. Alex also designed and created pack shot players for YouTube, updated metadata for new Domino videos uploaded to YouTube, and supplied to aggregators/ distributors. At Impressive PR, they worked primarily on the David Lynch album campaign for 'Crazy Clown Time'. Alex created banners for Spotify, Youtube, Amazon and other online publications promoting the album. Alex also edited together footage of Lynch in the studio which was used as a pre roll for YouTube. Ives also created and skinned a release specific youtube channel for the album and created 14 preview videos for each track on the album each depicting chosen pictures from the album artwork.

Alex Ives attended the University of Brighton from 2008 to 2011, studying music business and management.
