Marlene Watson, PE, GE, is a highly experienced geotechnical engineer, currently serving as Principal Geotechnical Engineer at Ninyo & Moore Geotechnical and Environmental Sciences Consultants since July 2022. Previously, Marlene held the same title at Fugro from September 2019 to July 2022 and at GEC Consulting from November 2005 to April 2018. Marlene's extensive experience encompasses business development and management of geotechnical engineering services, including geotechnical investigations, soil sampling, and construction observation for diverse projects such as schools, medical facilities, and mixed-use developments. Marlene gained foundational experience as a Senior Engineer at Alan Kropp & Associates and Hultgren-Tillis Engineers, overseeing various geotechnical investigations and construction procedures. Marlene's education includes a Master of Science degree in Geotechnical and Geoenvironmental Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor's degree in Geological and Earth Sciences from Harvard University.
