Zachary Hasten, PG, CEG, is a Senior Project Geologist at Ninyo & Moore Geotechnical and Environmental Sciences Consultants since January 2014. Prior experience includes serving as Logging Geologist II at Horizon Well Logging, LLC, where duties involved mud logging for production wells in the Permian Basin. Zachary Hasten also held the position of NSF Fellow at Kansas State University, conducting inquiry-based science education at Junction City High School, and served as a Graduate Research Assistant, focusing on mid-Miocene volcanism in the Owyhee Mountains. Earlier experience as an Engineering Technician at Solid Rock Engineering, Inc. involved logging and sample collection for various project types. Zachary Hasten earned a Master of Science in Geology from Kansas State University and a Bachelor of Science in Geological Sciences from San Diego State University.
