Dana Niculae has a diverse work experience in the field of radiopharmaceutical sciences. Dana is currently a member of the Radiopharmaceutical Sciences Committee at EANM. Previously, they also served as a Technical Expert at the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). Prior to that, they had a long tenure at the Horia Hulubei National Institute of Physics and Nuclear Engineering - IFIN-HH, where they held various roles such as Head of Radiopharmaceutical Research Centre and Head of Radioisotopes and Radiation Metrology Department. Dana started their career at IFIN-HH as a researcher in the Radiopharmaceuticals Group.
Dana Niculae began their education at Colegiul National "Emanoil Gojdu" Oradea, where they completed their secondary education from 1986 to 1990. Dana then enrolled in the University of Bucharest and obtained their Master of Science degree in Chemistry and Radiochemistry from 1990 to 1995. Continuing their academic journey, they pursued a PhD in Chemistry at the same university and successfully completed it from 2001 to 2006. During the year 2001 to 2002, Dana Niculae also attended INSTN, where they focused on radiopharmacy.
