THE NIPPON ROAD CO., LTD. is a company mainly engaged in the construction business. The Company operates in four business segments. The Construction segment is engaged in the road paving, civil engineering and other construction works. The Manufacture and Sale segment manufactures and sells asphalt mixtures and emulsions, as well as other materials for road paving. The Leasing segment is engaged in the leasing of automobiles and office equipment. The Others segment is involved in the operation of real estate business, the development and sale of software, the sale of office equipment, the non-life insurance agency business and the planning and operation of sports facilities. As of March 31, 2014, the Company had 45 subsidiaries, nine associated companies and one affiliated company.
