Steven Wang has over 20 years of work experience in the field of medical diagnostics and research and development. Steven started their career as a Scientist at Diagnostic Solutions Inc. and Plus Bio Inc. In 1998, they joined LXN Corporation as a Senior Scientist.
In 2001, they became the Senior R&D Manager and later the R&D Manager for Diabetes at AZURE Institute/ ACON Laboratories Inc. During this time, they successfully established and led the R&D Product Development Team for multiple electrochemical biosensor and optical diagnostic products. Steven also played a key role in the development and launch of multiple generations of electrochemical Blood Glucose biosensor products.
Since 2014, they have been working as the Director of New Product Development and Clinical Trials at Nipro Diagnostics (formerly Home Diagnostics).
Steven Wang completed their Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry, with a specialization in Electroanalytical Chemistry, at the University of Connecticut from 1987 to 1993. Following their doctoral studies, they pursued a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of California, Riverside, from 1993 to 1995. Steven'sresearch during this fellowship focused on the field of Electrochemical Biosensor.
