Casey Heier

Casey Heier currently serves as the Director of Interconnection at Nira Energy, having joined the company in December 2023. Prior to this role, Casey was the Director of Market Strategy at Quanta West, LLC from December 2022 to November 2023, where responsibilities included leading annual planning and market insights analysis. From July 2014 to November 2022, Casey held various positions at Smart Wires Inc., including Senior Director for the Americas and APAC, overseeing project delivery and developing standardized project management processes. Other roles at Smart Wires involved directing mobile solutions, managing product development, and engaging in strategic marketing initiatives. Casey co-founded The World Energy Project, serving as Operations Director and managing renewable energy installations in Africa. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Civil & Environmental Engineering from Stanford University and a Bachelor of Science in Biological Systems Engineering from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
