Kate Bartel has a diverse work experience in the fields of product management, product design, and architecture.

In 2013, they completed an internship at Studio M. Kate then worked as an intern at Camp Loyaltown in 2014 as a Special Needs Counselor.

Kate continued their internship at Studio M. in 2015 before joining HS99 for an internship from June 2015 to September 2015.

Kate Bartel then worked as an Architect at Semmer Architekten from October 2016 to December 2019. Their responsibilities included building a Design System for architectural projects, managing multiple projects, and liaising with clients and team specialists.

In 2020, they founded ReShape, where they served as the Founder and Product Designer. Their role involved conceptualizing the business plan, creating an MVP website, and conducting UX testing to improve engagement and conversions.

In 2021, they worked as a Co-designer at Figura, where they contributed to the ideation of a design system focused on simplicity and accessibility. Kate also handled documentation for scalability.

Additionally, they worked as a Product Designer at Grid GmbH from July 2021 to June 2022. Their responsibilities included gathering user requirements, presenting feature ideas to internal teams, and troubleshooting UX problems using customer feedback and data.

Kate also freelanced as a Designer at Constructa Translations in early 2021, where they developed the brand strategy and built an accessible website.

Currently, they are working as a Product Manager/Product Designer at Nira since July 2022.

Kate Bartel attended the University of Fine Arts in Poznan, Poland from 2012 to 2016, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Architecture. In 2020, they enrolled in CareerFoundry, completing a program in UX/UI Design in 2021. Prior to their university studies, they attended the High School of Karol Marcinkowski in Poznan from 2008 to 2011.
