William Dorfner

William Dorfner, CDS, currently holds the position of Senior Fleet Safety Manager at Nirvana Insurance since October 2022, after previously serving as Fleet Safety Manager. In addition, William serves as an instructor at the North American Transportation Management Institute and as a Driving Instructor for In Control Crash Prevention Training, a non-profit organization focused on crash prevention education. As the Owner and Expert Witness for Coastal Reconstruction and Safety since 2002, William has extensive experience in collision reconstruction. Prior roles include Director of Safety and Compliance and Safety Representative/Consultant at Carolina Group of Companies, and instructor for various programs at the National Safety Council. William's background in law enforcement includes a tenure as Police Corporal, and educational credentials include a Master of Science in Criminal Justice from Charleston Southern University and a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Bemidji State University.
