Ana Gakovic has a diverse work experience across various industries. Ana started their career as an Analyst in a boutique investment bank called FIMA Fas Ltd. in 2007. Following that, they worked as a Development Manager for a start-up company called ZoviMe Ltd. in 2008, where they were responsible for project coordination and presentation of business plans to potential investors.

Later in 2008, Ana joined HYPO Alpe-Adria-Bank a.d., Belgrade, as an Associate in Merger, Acquisition, and Project Unit. In this role, they worked as a project manager and consultant during the entire transaction process in the field of corporate finance, M&A, and restructuring.

Ana moved on to NIS Gazprom Neft in 2010, where they held multiple roles. First, they worked as a Project Manager for Strategy Development from June 2010 to October 2014. Then, they advanced to the position of Head of Department - Market Intelligence and Strategy Development in October 2014. Their responsibilities included direct and coordination of diverse reports and market evaluations to support top management's decision-making, conducting strategic analysis and marketing, and close cooperation on all levels within the organization.

Ana Gakovic obtained a B.Sc. degree in e-business from the College of Electrical Engineering, completing their studies from 2002 to 2005. Ana then pursued an M.B.A. degree in Finance at Lindenwood University from 2006 to 2007. In addition to their academic achievements, Ana has acquired various certifications in scuba diving, including AIDA3 from AIDA International in November 2021, Specialty Course Deep Diving and Specialty Course Enriched Air Nitrox Level 2 (40%) from Scuba Schools International in June 2016, and Open Water Diver certification from Scuba Schools International in November 2011.
