Damir Kastrat has multiple years of work experience in various roles. From 2005 to 2009, they worked as a Short Term Consultant for the International Finance Corporation (IFC), specifically on the ADR project. In 2009, they joined NIS a.d. Novi Sad and worked as a Human Resources Expert until 2010. From 2010 to 2014, they served as a Retail Manager, and from 2014 to 2018, they were a Franchise Manager at the same company. In 2018, they became a Control process expert at NIS a.d. Novi Sad until 2021. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Sales Organization and Development for Corporate Clients at NIS a.d. Novi Sad, starting in November 2021.

Damir Kastrat has a diverse education history. From 2008 to 2012, they attended the Law Faculty (E&J) and obtained a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B./law graduate) with a focus on the Judicial Department. Damir then pursued further studies at the Faculty of Diplomacy and Security from 2017 to 2019, where they earned a Master's degree in Manager for Corporate Security, specializing in Corporate Security.

In 2019, Damir Kastrat enrolled at the University of Cambridge, where they completed the Cambridge International Diploma in Business. This program allowed him to develop an expertise in International Business. Additionally, they obtained the ECDL certification from the ECDL/ICDL Certification institution in November 2019.
