Dejan Mirkovic has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Dejan started in 2015 as a Consultant at the Republic Geodetic Authority, where they worked on a World Bank project involving data entering, scanning, and indexing. In 2016, they joined GEOURB Group as an Msc Engineer, and they remained there until 2020. In 2019, Dejan worked as a GIS & Big data analyst / 3D Modeling & Rendering / Data Visualization specialist at Upwork until 2022. From 2020 to 2022, they served as a Database Specialist at NIS a.d. Novi Sad, where they were responsible for creating and deploying new versions of the database management system and ensuring database performance and security. At the same company, they also held the position of Head of the Database group at the Engineering Department, overseeing the management of unified digital database systems and implementing innovative solutions in engineering. Dejan's most recent position, starting in 2023, is as the Founder of Cloud Technology Solutions.
Dejan Mirkovic completed their education in the field of geodesy and geoinformatics at the University of Belgrade, Faculty of Civil Engineering. Dejan obtained their Bachelor's Degree from this institution between 2010 and 2013, with an overall grade of 8.0/10. Dejan then went on to pursue a Master's Degree in geoinformatics at the same university from 2013 to 2016, obtaining an impressive overall grade of 9.2/10.
In addition to their formal education, Dejan has also earned several certifications. Dejan became an Oracle Advanced PL/SQL Developer Certified Professional and an Oracle Certified Expert in Database SQL in March 2023. Dejan received training in entrepreneurship at the School of Entrepreneurship organized by Science Technology Park Belgrade in June 2015. Furthermore, Dejan completed the Oracle Academy Database Programming with SQL course offered by Oracle in September 2013.
