Roman Chesnokov

Roman Chesnokov is an accomplished Project Manager and Senior Exploration Geologist at NIS a.d. Novi Sad, specializing in oil and gas exploration projects in the Romania Pannonian basin since June 2018. Prior experience includes roles at LUKOIL from August 2011 to May 2018, where Roman contributed to exploration opportunities across various regions, including Iraq, Republic of Congo, Nigeria, and Egypt. Expertise encompasses sequence stratigraphy analysis, structural interpretation of seismic data, and comprehensive geological studies in multidisciplinary teams. Educational background includes master's degrees in petroleum geology and geophysics from Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas and oil and gas engineering from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, along with a bachelor's degree from Novosibirsk State University.
