Niall Collins

Niall Collins has extensive work experience in the field of software engineering and site reliability. Niall most recently served as the DevOps Lead at Nisos from October 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Principal DevOps Engineer at Patchworks from November 2021 to October 2022. Before Patchworks, they were employed at Equifax as a Site Reliability Engineer from March 2020 to November 2021. Niall started their career at Liberty IT, where they held various roles including Senior Software Engineer from October 2018 to March 2020, Software Engineer from March 2017 to March 2020, and System Administrator from September 2014 to March 2017.

Niall Collins completed their education at Queen's University Belfast. Niall received a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in History in 2012, followed by a Master of Arts (M.A.) in History in 2013. In 2014, they obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Computer Software Engineering from the same institution. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications, including Implementing Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Solutions from Microsoft in 2018, Splunk Certified User from Splunk in 2018, MCSA - 70/411 from Microsoft in 2016, Duolingo German Fluency: Intermediate (Estimated) from Duolingo in 2016, and ITIL Foundation from SureSkills in 2015.
