Sean Ortiz

Sean Ortiz is a Process Engineer at Nissan Chemical America Corporation since June 2023, bringing valuable experience from previous roles, including a Process Engineering Intern at Solvay from May 2021 to June 2023, where significant contributions included reworking 50% of off-grade material inventory into in-process batches and conducting interlock logic solver tests using Delta V. Prior to this, Sean served as a Flight Planner's Assistant at NASA in late 2018, where research focused on vehicles and the International Space Station. Sean also gained experience as a Process Engineer's Assistant at Natgas Global Resources Inc in early 2018, acquiring knowledge of natural gas refinery processes and equipment. Sean holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Houston, completed in 2023, and an Associate of Arts degree in General Studies from San Jacinto College, awarded in 2019.
