Alex Mendonca is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in talent management and human resources, having held various roles at Nissan Motor Corporation ranging from Human Resources Analyst to Sr. Human Resources Business Partner. Mendonca began a career in youth development as a Club Coach at Tecumseh Soccer Club and further contributed to the sport as a Graduate Assistant Men's Soccer Coach at the University of Detroit Mercy. Additional experience includes serving as an Industrial/Organizational Psychology Intern at HALIGHT Inc. and co-founding Compass Character Optimization Academy, which focuses on character and mental skills development in youth sports. Alex Mendonca holds a Master’s Degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from the University of Detroit Mercy and is pursuing a Doctorate of Education in Sport and Performance Psychology at the University of Western States.
