Sam Downs

Sam Downs is currently a 2024 Fall Philanthropy Intern at Nissan Motor Corporation and a Project Consultant at Bridgestone Americas, both positions starting in September 2024. Sam also serves as a VPR Writer and the Social Media Director for the Vanderbilt Political Review since August 2023 and is an active member of the Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity, International, serving as Co-Head of House for Corporate Law for the Vanderbilt Chapter. Previous experience includes an internship with the State of Tennessee as a Boards and Commissions Intern and a legal internship at Borge Law Firm P.A. Sam gained early experience in the healthcare field by shadowing a physician and working as a medical receptionist at Paul F. Rockley, M.D., Dermatology Office. Sam is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Medicine, Health, & Society and Political Science, with a minor in Human & Organizational Development at Vanderbilt University, expected to graduate in May 2025.
