Ghulam Raza

Ghulam Raza's work experience begins with their current role as a Senior Software Engineer 1 at Nisum, which they started in December 2021.

Prior to their current position, Ghulam worked at Nisum Latam from 2019 to 2021. During this time, they held two roles. As a Senior Software Engineer, Ghulam developed a loyalty-based system for Gap Inc., utilizing Java 8, Spring Boot, Apigee, Splunk, new relic, and Avro Kafka. Ghulam then transitioned to a role as a Backend Developer, where they developed web systems and microservices for GAP Inc. using Java, Spring framework, and Jenkins, following Scrum framework principles supported by Jira.

Before joining Nisum Latam, Ghulam worked at Nisum from 2017 to 2019. In their role as a Software Engineer, they worked on multiple warehouse-based systems for US-based client Macy's. Ghulam used technologies such as Spring Boot with JPA Specifications and implemented a TDD approach for unit and integration testing. Ghulam also had an initial role as an Associate Software Engineer, where they worked on an in-house product, the HRMS application, which successfully managed employees, their leaves, attendance, and public holidays.

Ghulam Raza completed their Matriculation degree at St. Bonaventure's High Schools Qasimabad from the years 2000 to 2010. Ghulam then pursued an Intermediate degree at Preston's Boy college, from 2010 to 2012. Lastly, they obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Software Engineering from the University of Sindh, from the years 2013 to 2016.
