Rauf Iqbal

Rauf Iqbal has extensive experience in the field of ergonomics and industrial safety, currently serving as a faculty member at the Indian Institute of Management Mumbai since September 2007, focusing on teaching, research, and industrial consultancy in ergonomics and industrial safety. Prior to this role, Rauf Iqbal worked at the Directorate General Factory Advice Service & Labour Institute in Mumbai from June 2000 to August 2007, where responsibilities included teaching, training, research, and consultancy in industrial ergonomics, initially as Assistant Director and subsequently as Deputy Director. Rauf Iqbal earned a PhD in Ergonomics from Vidyasagar University (1997-2000) and a Master of Science in Human Physiology with a focus on Ergonomics from the University of Calcutta (1990-1991).
