Julia Shumeyko

Julia Shumeyko is a Software Developer at Nitor since January 2022, with prior experience as a Developer at GoGoCar.io and as a Junior Developer at GoGoCar.fi. Julia founded and managed Moikkamuikku, a company that designed and sold pins inspired by Finnish traditional symbols. Early career involvement included roles such as Junior Web Developer at Integrify, where coding was taught to immigrants, and Concept & Game Designer at InsideOut Productions, focusing on immersive game experiences. Additional experiences include freelance translation and interpretation, tour guiding, and English language instruction. Julia holds a Bachelor of Arts from Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences and a Master of Arts from Karelian State Pedagogical University.
