Timo-Pekka Viljamaa

Timo-Pekka Viljamaa is a seasoned design professional with extensive experience in user experience and design leadership. Currently serving as Director of Design Services at Nitor since May 2016, Timo-Pekka has previously held roles such as Principal Designer and Chief Designer within the same company. Prior experience includes significant positions at Microsoft, where Timo-Pekka excelled as Principal UX Designer and Head of HCI Design, leading teams on innovative biometric authentication and device connectivity technologies. Additionally, Timo-Pekka has a strong background from Nokia in various design capacities, contributing to groundbreaking projects and mentoring design teams. Academic qualifications include an ongoing Ph.D. at Aalto University in Interactive Digital Media and a Master's degree in the same field, complemented by additional executive education in service design.
