Edward B. Vertudes

Edward B. Vertudes has a diverse background in research and clinical work. Edward B. started their career as an Assistant Neurophysiology at Klinik Lengg in 2014, where they worked until February 2016. In 2016, they obtained research internships at both ETH Zürich and the University of Zurich. At ETH Zürich, they worked on a project related to stem cell mechanosensitivity and fate under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Jess Snedekker and Dr. In their internship at the University of Zurich, they focused on automated quantification of fibrosis and cardiomyocyte hypertrophy in inflammatory cardiomyopathy, working under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Urs Eriksson and Dr. Edward B. then joined Gladstone Institutes in November 2018 as a Research Associate III, a role they held until June 2021.
