John Romero

John Romero is currently the Director of Environmental Health & Safety at Nitta Gelatin. John has over 25 years of experience in environmental health and safety management.

John started their career in 1995 as a Health, Safety, and Environmental Manager at Proctor & Gamble Snacks. John then moved to Proctor & Gamble Paper Products in 2003, where they served as Environmental Manager for seven years. In 2011, John joined Mars Petcare US as their Health, Safety and Environmental Manager. John spent six years at Mars Petcare before joining Nitta Gelatin in 2017.

John has a wealth of experience in environmental health and safety management and is committed to protecting the health and safety of employees and the environment.

John Romero has a Master’s Degree in Environmental Management from Duquesne University. John also has a Bachelor of Science - Systems Engineering from the United States Naval Academy and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Systems Engineering from the United States Naval Academy.
