Abdel Fattah Burkan

Abdel Fattah Burkan is a seasoned project manager and municipal engineer with extensive experience in the field of water and sewage system rehabilitation and maintenance. Currently employed at Nittedal kommune since March 2010, Abdel Fattah Burkan oversees the management of water and sewage projects, ensuring compliance with technical standards and economic responsibilities. Previous roles include serving as a Field Officer and WASH Specialist with UNHCR and UNRWA, respectively, and as a Project Leader in Gjerdrum kommune. An early career at the Norwegian Refugee Council involved coordinating infrastructure improvements in refugee camps in Darfur. Abdel Fattah Burkan holds a B.Sc. in Chemical-Technologic Engineering from the University of Tuzla, obtained between 1982 and 1988.
