Cheng-Kang Mai (CK)

Cheng-Kang (CK) Mai is a Staff Scientist at Nitto Denko Technical Corporation since May 2022, previously holding the position of Research Scientist III at Phenomenex from July 2017 to May 2022 and R&D Scientist III at James Hardie Building Products from July 2016 to June 2017. CK Mai worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of California, Santa Barbara from January 2012 to June 2016, focusing on the design, synthesis, and characterization of organic materials for applications in organic electronics. CK Mai began research career as a Graduate Student Research Assistant at the University of Colorado from August 2007 to December 2011, contributing to complex natural product molecule synthesis and proficient in various organic reactions and structural characterization techniques. CK Mai obtained a PhD in Organic Synthesis from the University of Colorado Boulder and a BS in Chemistry from the University of Science and Technology of China.
