Nitin Mehra

Nitin Mehra, PhD, currently serves as a Senior Scientist II at Nitto Denko Technical Corporation since October 2019, previously holding the position of Senior Scientist I. Prior experience includes roles as a Graduate Research Assistant and Graduate Teaching Assistant at The University of Akron, where Nitin received accolades for outstanding research and teaching. Nitin's research background features interdisciplinary work in material science, polymers, and thermal physics, with recognition as a top PhD student based on publication count. Nitin has also participated as a Lead Entrepreneur in the NSF I-Corps Site program, contributing to customer discovery efforts, and worked in research and development at Classic Stripes Private Limited, focusing on the automotive industry and polymer coatings. Nitin holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Chemical Engineering from The University of Akron, a Master of Technology, and a Bachelor of Technology from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.
