Daniela Montebello CPA, CFE, MSc, FIA is a seasoned finance professional currently serving as the Director of Finance and Executive Director at Nium since March 2024, with positions approved by the Malta Financial Services Authority. Prior experience includes roles as CFO at eToro, where responsibilities encompassed managing the finance function and strategic vision for the eToro Money business, and as CFO at OpenPayd, overseeing a licensed financial services entity in the EU. Daniela has also worked as a forensic accountant for both Grant Thornton and independently, specializing in financial investigations and fraud prevention, and held various roles in transaction advisory services and audit at Grant Thornton and PwC. Daniela holds an MSc in Forensic Accounting from the University of Portsmouth and multiple degrees from the University of Malta.
