Karthik Venkatachalam Shanmugasundaram is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in managing cloud security, risk assessments, and security incident investigations. Currently serving as Senior Principal and Director of Cybersecurity at Nium since March 2022, Karthik oversees various aspects of cybersecurity including Secure By Design initiatives, IT audits, and product integration reviews. Prior to this, Karthik held significant roles at Standard Chartered Bank and Cognizant Technology Solutions, focusing on cloud security and cybersecurity consulting. Karthik's early career includes positions at EY and iGATE Global Solutions, where a foundation in IT audits and system access testing was established.
