Megan Scott

Megan Scott serves as the Interim General Manager of People & Capability at NIWA starting January 2025, following a role as People and Capability Manager from April 2024 to August 2024. Prior experience includes serving as Director of Organisational Development at Te Whatu Ora Health New Zealand from February 2020 to April 2024 and Manager of Change and Capability at Fonterra from May 2019 to February 2020. In the state sector, Megan led significant change initiatives as Organisation Transformation Manager at Hamilton City Council and worked as a Managing Consultant at Adaptive People Solutions Limited. Earlier roles include People & Performance Group Manager and General Manager of Human Resources at Livestock Improvement Corporation, as well as various HR positions at Fonterra and New Zealand Dairy Group. Megan holds a Master's degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from The University of Waikato, complemented by executive education in Leading Transformational Change from Melbourne Business School.
