Melanie Mayall - Nahi

Environmental Social Scientist at NIWA

Melanie Mayall - Nahi is an experienced Environmental Social Scientist at NIWA since September 2020, specializing in Māori Environmental Research. Prior to this role, Melanie was engaged in various academic positions at The University of Auckland from July 2017 to September 2020, including Casual Researcher, Kaiāwhina for the School of Environment, Tuākana Tutor/Ambassador, Graduate Teaching Assistant, Teaching Assistant, Te Fale Pouāwhina Learning Assistant, and UniBound Mentor. Earlier experience includes serving as a MATES Senior Tutor at the Great Potentials Foundation from March 2017 to October 2017. Melanie holds a Master of Science in Environmental Management and a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Geography, both obtained from The University of Auckland, along with a Bachelor of Science in Geography and Psychology.
