Remote Sensing Scientist at NIWA

Rose Pearson is a Remote Sensing Scientist at NIWA since April 2021, specializing in marine ecosystem monitoring and river flood modeling through remote sensing techniques. Previously, Rose held a postdoctoral fellowship in data science, focusing on creating digital elevation models and roughness maps from LiDAR data for flood models, under the Endeavour flood inundation and hazard project.
