Gearl Loden

Gearl Loden has extensive experience in educational administration, currently serving as Superintendent of Nixa Public Schools since July 2018. Prior to this role, Loden held the position of Superintendent of Education at Tupelo Public School District from June 2012 to June 2018, and Superintendent of the Amory School District from July 2009 to June 2012. Earlier experience includes serving as Principal at South Panola High School and Houston Lower Elementary School, as well as Executive Director of Human Resources at Meridian Public Schools. Loden's academic credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy in Educational Leadership and Administration from the University of Mississippi, a Master of Business Administration from Western Governors University, and a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from the University of Mississippi.
