Zac Rantz

Chief Communication Officer at Nixa Public Schools

Zac Rantz has a diverse work experience. Zac started their career in 2002 as an English/Journalism Teacher at Nixa Public Schools and later took on various roles within the district, including Communication Coordinator, Director of Communication, and eventually Chief Communication Officer. In 2007, they also became the Lead Singer/Owner of the band Human Anyway. Furthermore, Zac Rantz has engaged in adjunct teaching at both Missouri State University and Drury University. Zac has also demonstrated their leadership skills by serving as the President, President-Elect, and Executive Board Secretary of the Missouri School Public Relations Association. Zac Rantz has shown their passion for communications and crisis management by writing a book titled "Hindsight: Lessons learned from the Joplin tornado and other crisis events" in 2013. Currently, they are working as an Adjunct Professor at Missouri State University and continues to operate their own communication business, Zac Rantz Communication. Additionally, they served on the board of the Nixa Education Foundation between 2009 and 2013.

Zac Rantz began their education at Nixa High School, where they attended from 1994 to 1998. Following high school, they enrolled at Drury University and pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in English/Language Arts Teacher Education, completing their studies between 1998 and 2002. Zac Rantz then continued their education at Drury University, obtaining a Masters degree in Integrated Marketing Communications from 2006 to 2008.
