Mohamed Abdelbassit

Mohamed Abdelbassit is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the telecommunications industry. Currently serving as the Chief Communication Platforms Officer at Bayobab since September 2025, Mohamed has previously held significant leadership roles, including CEO for the Middle East and West Africa at Liquid Telecom and Vice President of Operations at Gulf Bridge International. Mohamed also has a robust background at BICS, where roles included Vice President for the Middle East and North Africa and Regional Mobile Business Director. Prior experience includes serving as Regional Sales Manager at Syniverse and Complex Printing Solutions Account Manager at XEROX. Academically, Mohamed holds an MBA in Marketing from Central Michigan University and a Bachelor’s in Accounting from Cairo University, along with a degree in Sales Management from Vlerick Business School.
