Reema Taneja is a Senior Counsel at Nixon Gwilt Law, providing legal representation exclusively to clients in the healthcare industry since June 2020. In addition to this role, Reema serves as an Adjunct Professor of Law at American University Washington College of Law, teaching a course on "Digital Health and the Law," and as a Mentor at Plug and Play Tech Center, offering compliance and business strategy consulting to early-stage digital health companies. Previously, Reema held the position of Director of Policy and Regulatory Affairs at the National Community Pharmacists Association, where federal healthcare regulatory matters were analyzed and reported. Reema's extensive experience includes representation of healthcare entities at Healthcare Legal Solutions, a legal externship with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, and various internships in legal settings, all supported by a Juris Doctor degree in Health Law and a Bachelor of Science in Criminology, Law, and Society from American University and George Mason University, respectively.
