Erica F. Buckley

Erica F. Buckley is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in real estate finance and regulation. Currently serving as Practice Leader and Partner at Nixon Peabody LLP since June 2017, Erica previously held the position of Special Counsel at Stroock & Stroock & Lavan LLP from March 2016 to June 2017. Prior to that, Erica made significant contributions at the Office of the Attorney General of the State of New York, serving as Chief of the Real Estate Finance Bureau and in multiple leadership roles within the bureau from November 2007 to February 2016. Erica's legal career began at UHAB, where Erica was In-House Counsel and Director of the Legal Department. Erica holds a Juris Doctor from the City University of New York School of Law and a B.A. in Women’s Studies from Binghamton University.
